It was a ‘religious’ trip to Taiwan. I joined my mentors for group practice on 2 commercial sites and then audited one of the largest church before finishing my trip with an initial an assessment of a Taoist temple Wu Ji Tian Yuan Temple
The temple is located in the outskirt of Taipei city at Dan Shui Town,

Landform: In-coming Dragon from Gen The temple faces a Yang Table Mountain (陽案) and sits on 震卦 乙山 24-Mountain, which is a Yin sitting.

Landform: The Waterways and Qi flow are all from right (North) to left (West) 右旋陰龍 converging in West -辛 and 庚. A Dui 兌 exit.

The containment of Qi is served by the side buildings acting as immediate embraces, an ample size car park and suitable landings of stairs to create Bright Halls.
By maximising on space, the practitioner has matched basic Yin-Yang form by opening up wide. However, a little flaw here – the side building on left serving as an embrace is a little ‘loose’ and the car park entry however could be located on the left.

Overall, above macro scale concerns (except for 1 particular Yin-Yang criteria) ensures the larger scheme of things are set. The temple is able to serve its primal functions – spreading their religion, good reputation, and financial viability.

San He Feng Shui:
The main temple sits on Small Death and Emptiness 小空亡 of 戊辰 on 72-Dragon, taking a Yin Wood Formation. Water exits in Weakening 衰 phase (in辛) and then towards the bigger Water Mouths in Sick 病 (in 庚). The temple is doing well from donations from mainly female devotees.
San Yuan Feng Shui:
The connection of Qi using the natural terrain, entrances and water will keep the temple’s profitability. Problem is its sitting on 陰陽差錯 a crossing of Yin-Yang on Gua and 24-mountain. There are petty internal management issues weighing down the vision of the temple.
Xuan Kong Da Gua: The main building sits on Sincerity Hexagram 風澤中孚卦 – Mountain Meets Mash Gua Qi formation 山澤通氣.
When a site’s Feng Shui is at its optimal, both San He and San Yuan Feng Shui will match.

Hi Zoe,
When you mean the entrance should be opened on right, you meant it from the temple looking out? Is it because the Qi flows from right to left as mentioned?
Thank you!
Kwan
Hi Kwan,
Been busy. Your comments and several others have been sitting on the Dashboard for some time. Sorry about that.
Yes, that was what I meant. It is a about a longer, therefore, more sentimental receipt = better quality receipt of Qi.
cheers!
Zoe
dear Zoe,
Did you measure the sitting from the entrance or from the back of the temple? I have been studying this article and am lost. But I would very much like to learn from you especially after I heard from Arthur his experience with you.
Please visit Jakarta soon.
Warm regards,
Siwi
dear Siwi,
I will get my assistant to contact you on my Jakarta schedule. Thanks.
On measure of sitting, it is really about perspective. If I am measuring the entrance’s Feng Shui then it is from the entrance. Whereas, if I am looking into the whole property, then it has to be the back of the property, where possible. Also, not all properties are perfectly angled. I would not say that measuring the Entrance is good enough. But it does have the strongest influence because it is after all the Qi MOUTH.
cheers!
Zoe
Zoe,
Thanks for the post. do you think the front drops to fast at the mingtang? Also, did you see the statue in the East Wing?
What you think about the Feng shui story behind it? Wrote you through 13 Voices email. Thks.
By the way, I am from Taiwan and a PR in Singapore as a fengshui practitioner too. 13 yrs in this business. Can feel your passion in sharing fengshui. Hope to meet you soon as you find time to discuss my research case.

(Admin: Sorry, Jie. We need to blank out the blog name.)
Hi 李傑,
Yes, I agree the mountain itself, external (macro) mingtang, has a steeper than desired gradient. But the site’s outer mingtang i.e. the carpark is of a right size. So the effect is minimal. What do you think?
Yes, I know the story of the statue. Shhhh….

Dear Zoe,
I see that you removed those posts over other side. Noted. Thanks for your email. I understand your situation. Sigh. Will keep your privacy.
