One of the best snowcrab I had was this Snowcrab Noodle in a restaurant located in Thornlie Avenue, Perth.  I seriously think it beats the Lobster Noodle in Bayswater, London’s ChinaTown. (I know – lobster ain’t crab.  :P   Both dishes are cooked in similar broth and served together same type of noodles. Tried it while was there on ‘vacation’ in a friend’s house.
(I worked throughout as usual.  The drill is always my ‘kidult’ friends who retired very early would be making merry / playing mahjong while I am always on my Mac typing away.)

Despite its excellent food quality and warm hospitality, the restaurant’s Feng Shui suffers from a typical case of Yin-Yang imbalance. Weekend business is *good with one turn per meal session. But weekdays are only about take-away sales which just about cover their overheads.  It is a big let down for this talented and friendly couple who runs the place and had been successful in other locations.

(*Note: with F&B Feng Shui, we consider good sales as min. 2 turns per meal session.)

Geo Track

Below is a Geo-track sufficient for a ‘first look’ for a professional practitioner.

Landform:

This a view of the frontage – facing a wide carpark and roundabout. (Double Bright Hall?)
The left and right structures of this shopping centre act as left embrace (Green Dragon) and right embrace (White Tiger) of this row of shops.  (You may click on above Google Map to maneuver around its vicinity.)

Perth’s Terrain

Perth’s urban areas are mid-land dragon and the terrain flattens out (as in most cases) towards its Dui Gua Water Mouth. This shopping centre is not the only shopping centre in Perth that doesn’t have a good table mountain and support mountain.  Yet quite a few of these shopping centres/malls are doing well and the rest below the mark.  Why?
Like most developed countries, the small waterways in Perth are well concealed leaving the main branch of the Swan River dividng the city. We don’t see all inner suburb’s business suffering.  Some are doing very well.

This is the view the shop is facing directly. There is a church acting as Table Mountain for this particular unit.

Thornlie2a

We have Embraces, Table Mountain and Bright Hall.  What do you think?  Why doesn’t Qi collect and coagulate well for this quiet mall and this Chinese restaurant?

The owner asked me if there is a solution to their issues. I didn’t have my Luopan. But gave her some advice on the layout to improve traffic.

Hope the nice lady boss implements those changes. I would like to have her snowcrab noodle this April.  :-)

Bright Hall 明堂 is defined in the market as the external lobby space of a premise’s entrance (External Bright Hall) and  the internal lobby space of a premise (Internal Bright Hall).

It is said that having a wide and spacious Bright Hall collects Qi.  Is that so? Or is it a conditional notion? We see contradiction to this notion all the time.

Do you share the same observation?  Do you have cases to share?
