Hi Zoe/Alan,

May I know what is the source for your 月令用事?
For 亥 month, it says 立冬戊七又甲七，壬水十八交大雪.
But the number of days adds up to a total of 32 days, and in my view 32 can't be right.

Regards.

Hi Zoe/Alan,

I ran the program for the following data:
a) 20 May 2009, 18:00
b) 21 May 2009, 18:00

This is what the program tells with regard to solar term:
a) 日元生於立夏後第15天
b) 日元生於立夏後第15天
Strange, isn't it, why are both 15天?

According to my calculation, the program should give:
a) 日元生於立夏後第15天
b) 日元生於立夏後第16天
Because 立夏 starts on 5 May 2009.

Regards.

Hi,
Finally able to login after weeks have no access as no login details :(
Feedback on the linking from this page to the bazi calc. When I click on the above link to test out the calc, i'm not able to come back to this page. Only option is but if i put in few dates for the bazi calc, i've to back so many times. Would be good if it's a pop-up link or a button to click back to this page.

Hi CJ,

1. Noted. Yes, agree in practice, Qi is fluid and the technical cut-off is only applicable to the 'container' 器 (Earthly Branches). However, we should still provide it to enable a comprehensive understanding of Qi patterns.
_________

2. We are also missing the English translations of 四時五行, QTBJ, and ZPZJ. It would aid learners to pick the Useful God with sound fundamentals. The current version is still in Chinese.

Any volunteers? :-)
__________

CJ, I wonder if you can come over to our office on Sun? We can discuss this and the testing of beta. I'll try to get Alan in too. Like to get it going asap.

We r leaving for KL for urgent trip tomoro morning. Back this Sat. Write me. Thanks! :-)

cheers!

Hi,

I don't think it is necessary to add the starting date for 10 year luck pillar because the big luck will not change on the dot. I've experienced the impact 1 year before I entered into current luck cycle! And before Geng Yin year which is next month, I also feel the impact as I've been weaken for almost 2.5 weeks :)

Just a gentle reminder to do a test print & ensure the width can fit into A4 paper. Will help you to do the beta testing this Sunday & revert by email if I've something to comment on the bazi chart calculator.

Cheers

Hi Jlim,

1. Noted. All the missing hidden stems will be up by early next week.

2. Yes, but that will be developed along with the professional version and be released still on the free version.

3. Yes, we are trying to 'emulate' the old style of Ming Shu, esp for the Natal 4 P. Point taken with thanks! Let's see what the others think.

cheers!

Hi,

Regarding v0.6 beta:

1) The Xu Dog branch does not show the hidden Heavenly Stems Xin-Wu-Ding. It doesn't show for any of the Four Pillars' branches.

2) Could you incorporate starting dates for each 10-year Luck Pillar? Unlike Annual Pillars, 10-year Luck Pillars do not start on Li Chun. For example, (3) 1974 20-Apr, noting the additional "20-Apr" as the starting date that I meant.

3) I have used this program before, but I remember very well it uses a different Chinese font for the Four Pillars. I like the previous font better, the current font looks less formal to me. The font is too bold or too dark in color, and it looks too artistic for me. This is purely a design issue, so you may check with other (potential) users.
