San He 24 Mountains Compass
The San He Luo Pan is based on the Early Heaven Gua where the cardinals are Qian [乾] Kun [坤] Kan[坎] and Li [离] which is yang[阳] in nature and the sub-cardinals are Gen[艮] Xun[巽] Dui[兑] and Zhen[震] which are Yin[阴] in nature.
The distribution of the Yin and Yang Stems of the San He Luo Pan are different from the San Yuan and Xuan Kong Luo Pans.
The 24 mountains corresponding to the Gua are as follow:

The purpose of the Yin Yang among the 24 mountains is to harmonise the Heaven Earth and Man Qi.
