It has been 13months since we incorporated First Principles Inc. It has been an eventful short term. I counted- we probably accumulated what a few sole practices combined would practised in a few years.

There are many beautiful people and events we experienced. Kindness. Generosity. Graciousness. Courage.

There are sad events which crossed our path, and, of course, negativity in our dealings with people. Selfishness. Extreme Greed for money & control. Then there are the sick and the depressed ones who suffer in their own shadows.

We push Qi. We counsel and comfort the lost ones. We intervene in their path. But we must remind ourselves we cannot manipulate the will of another person. By doing so, we are assuming the role of God, perhaps.

A friend, a San Yuan master and author in Miao Pai Feng Shui 妙派 ( a lineage known for their Xuan Kong Da Gua Feng Shui), shared with me tonight:

“是，風水是中華特有的科學。可是，我的經驗之談是，你盡心盡力的為人，身體力行的把一家人做地理事物。好了，情況好轉了，他們也忘了這不是必然的。 小貓小狗病了也怪你。是不是？用風水去做公益、搞生意吧。創出自己的一片天，才是正路。”

Essentially, he meant as a veteran Feng Shui practitioner, a lot of his efforts and integrity were lost in translation in serving the Subjects. And, often, they are beyond his control and best ethics. The unfortunate situation is that he does not feel gratified despite having a successful practice. Rather than spending his time in trying to be the master of manipulation, he has since some years gone into applying Feng Shui on his own profitable business in manufacturing while keeping his teaching through the internet in Chinese medium.

Perhaps, it is time to re-look at our hectic schedules and re-evaluate the road ahead.
There are probably other ways to practice with integrity and honesty while keeping my ground and goals in Chinese Metaphysics.

今天的我已不需質疑陰陽五行真理的存在,也無須為了芝麻綠豆的名利而背叛真理和正道。這博客的用意很單純－是為了分享我堪輿生涯的心得和體會，闡述陰 陽五行的科學與精神。

前言已說了探索陰陽五行真理的人必須面對的痛苦，如果是如此那就讓我以身犯險吧！
